Your location data is encrypted and stored by Trifork GmbH on a server in a secure environment in Switzerland.
Trifork GmbH will not pass on your personal data to a third party except if a Swiss court demand us to do so and even in this case the location data will still be encrypted.
Storing data on a server no matter how secure it is has a risk of being compromised by highly skilled and determined people. Therefore we encrypt location data to make it very hard to get information. Furthermore Expat Tracker will only store position changes that are likely to result in a change of country.
Expat Tracker cannot be used as a proof of where you have been but could and should be used as a tool to guide you and help you reconstruct your calendar if needed.
